'Fast and Furious' Tyrese Gibson's major surgery on total Solar Eclipse day

Even as the US witnessed the first total solar eclipse on the 21st of August, rapper turned action movie star Tyrese Gibson underwent a three hour major surgery from which he is reportedly recovering well from. The 'Fast and Furious' star has thanked his wife Samantha and daughter Shayla for being beside him the whole time stating "When it comes down to the real stuff no one is ever there but family...... Father God I thank you for your extended grace and mercy 3 hour surgery I made it through.........."

Tyrese Gibson also believes that the surgery for which the reason has been kept under wraps is significant that it happened on the eclipse and hopes to one day understand its meaning. Get well soon Gibson.
