Father Jayaram 'Claps' for Son Kalidas's first film Poomaram

Kalidas's first Malayalam film as hero Poomaram's Pooja ceremony happened at Maharaja's college. Kalidas Jayaram is in the comeback path to Malayalam through this movie helmed by Abrid Shine. Earlier it was heard that he will be working with Pratap Pothen's new project, but that finally ended up in a bitter spat.
Jayaram did the first clap' and Parvathy conducted the switch-on ceremony. Malavika, Kalidas's younger sister joined the ceremony by lighting the lamp.
Kalidas has a special place in the hearts of malayalees by his roles as a child artist in films like Ente Veedu Appuvinteyum and Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal. He has already completed few projects in Tamil industry including Oru Pakka Kathai and Meenkuzhambum & Manpaanayum.
Veteran directors including Kamal, Sibi Malayil, Joshy, Major Ravi, etc graced the occasion.
The film is touted as a campus movie.
