Kaala is an upcoming action film written and directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush. The film stars Rajinikanth in the lead role and is expected to hit the screens on the 7th of June.

Kaala who runs away from Tirunelveli in his childhood, moves to Mumbai where he becomes a powerful don living in the slums of Dharavi.
