Film on Gauri Lankesh, 2 making preparations

One director cum producer Kannada cinema AMR Ramesh and producer Praveen (Ramakrishna) are showing interest in making a film on the brutal killing of journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh. With the investigation still in progress the idea has struck two personalities.
AMR Ramesh is known for rising to the occasion ever since ‘Cyanide’, he made films on fugitive Veerappan, he has one more on Rajiv Gandhi assassination ‘Asphota’ at the working stage. AMR Ramesh even announced a film on LTTE chief Prabhakaran in the past. A film on Veerappan was first made in 1990’s and Devaraj played the role of Veerappan. When AMR Ramesh made ‘Veerappan Attahasa’ Kishor took up the role, recently when RGV directed ‘Killing Veerappan’ it was Sandeep Bharadwaj who played the role of Veerappan.
Announcement of making a film on killing of Gauri Lankesh is made but various formalities have to be fulfilled before launch of the film.
