It has been 60 plus films in the last 15 Fridays from January 2018 till April 20. The box office result has come to hardly one or two films. All other films are falling like pack of cards.

It has been huge lass in 100 plus days of this year. None of the film reached 100 days, a very few reached 50 days and one such notable was ‘Tagaru’ of Dr Shivarajakumar.

With such fall in the box office, the rain of films is also seen on 20th of April. The KFCC is not applying restrictions on spree of releases.

For 20th April – films of Sanchari Vijay national award winning actor ‘Krishna Thulasi’ in which he is blind is hitting silver screen with films like ‘6 to 6’suspense thriller , ‘Attempt to Murder’ a murder mystery based on real life incident, ‘Rukku’ a love story, ‘Saguva Dhariyalli’ and ‘Nagavalli Vs Apthamithraru’ a new attempt on presence of Nagavalli is unearthed in the films.

The first week of April had six releases – Andhagara, Huchcha 2, Nanjundi Kalyana, Maduve Dibbana, Jayamahal and Varthamana – all of them crashed.

The second week of April films ‘Seizer’ is sailing well, Dalapathi, Abbe Tumakuru Siddipurusha Vishwaradhya did not do well.

Released in last week of March, ‘Gultu’ has got some good mileage but return of investment is not satisfactory for the producer.
