FIR filed against 6 men who took selfie at a police station

An FIR has been filed against 6 men who took a selfie in the Vastrapur police station, Gujarat. The men were detained in a prohibition case for alcohol consumption at a penthouse in Gurukul Park Society in Memnagar.

The accused had allegedly clicked the selfies and posted the pictures on social media from the waiting area of the station on Tuesday. In addition to that, one of the men was found wearing a police cap in the pictures.

The cops were initially confused about the sections of IPC that the accused men could be booked under, however, later decided to book them under IPC 151 for constituting assembly which may cause a disturbance of the public peace.
