For all of you folks who were wondering what happened to the slew of film events, launch functions et al, do we need to remind of the long producers council strike? For the uninitiated, the strike has come to a peaceful resolution this Tuesday and new films are set to hit the screens from tomorrow, yay!

However, want to know the first major event in Tamil cinema after the strike? It’s the audio launch function of Gautham Karthik’s film ‘Mr.Chandramouli’. The event is scheduled to happen coming 25th and no doubt cine folks and the fans would be elated at it.

‘Mr.Chandramouli’ has Gautham Karthik and his father Karthik essaying the lead roles in addition Varalaxmi, Regina Cassandra, Mime Gopi as well. Music for the film has been scored by Sam CS of ‘Vikram Vedha’ fame. It is expected that Thiru’s film release date will announced shortly.
