Karthi and Suriya to do it first time?

Suriya had recently given a 100 crore grosser with the KV Anand directed action movie Kaappaan, and his brother Karthi has also scored a success with his recent release Kaithi, which was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has won great reviews and running successfully.
Suriya had recently completed shooting for his next release Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara and co-starring Aparna Balamurali, Paresh Rawal and Mohan Babu, and it has been said that this movie might be releasing on December 20. Now the film faces an unexpected competition.
As per latest speculations, Karthi's next movie directed by Jeetu Joseph, a family thriller which also stars Jyothika, Sathyaraj, Nikhila Vimal and Ammu Abhirami is also being planned as a December 20 release. If both the movies announce the same release date, it will be the first time Suriya and Karthi clash at box office.
