The much expected official announcement on the release date of Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali is due in a day or two. Meanwhile, the prestigious film has bagged a bumper offer from Fox Star India.

Reliable sources reveal that the release rights of the film in North Indian markets have been acquired by the prestigious Fox Star India banner. 'Kabali' will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages all over India on a big scale. Only recently, the Telugu version's release rights were acquired by Shanmukha Films for a whopping Rs. 32 cr.

While many Tamil films are struggling to sell the satellite rights in the original version, the satellite rights of the Hindi version of this Pa.Ranjith directorial has been clinched by Star TV, the sister concern of Fox Star, quite early on.

There is a speculation that the film will hit the marquee only on Aug 1 or even later.
