This is a promising Friday, so to say, as Sasikumar's 'Sundara Pandian' is hitting the screens, after successfully crossing all the hurdles.

Directed by Prabhakaran, a former associate of Sasikumar, the film features the 'Eesan' director as a romantic hero for the first time. 'Kumki' fame Lakshmi Menon is the heroine, while music is by Raghunanthan.

Also in the race are 'Nellai Santhippu' and 'Thulli Ezhundadhu Kadhal'. Both feature newcomers in lead roles and belong to different genres.

While 'Nellai Sandhippu' is produced by director Thirumalai and directed by debutant Naveen, 'Thulli Ezhundhadhu Kadhal' is the Tamil dubbed version of Bhoomika's Telugu production venture 'Thakita Thakita'.
