There are two releases in the box-office today- 'Aarohanam' and 'Mayilu'. The common thing between the two movies is that they are about human emotions.
'Aarohanam' is the debut directorial venture of actress Lakshmi Ramakrishnan. Those who had watched the film already, including veteran director K Balachander, have heaped laurels on Lakshmyi.
The movie is based on a series of events that take place on a single day. It narrates the story of a 17-year-old boy and his sister's search for their missing mother.
'Mayilu' directed by M Jeevan comes with Ilayaraja's music and the story is set in rural milieu. It is produced by Moserbaer.
