Small-time TV actress Nalini Negi has filed an FIR against her roommate Preeti and mother Sunita Rana for allegedly assaulting her. The Mumbai police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the IPC.

As per Nalini, Preeti had been her roommate in the past. After they parted ways years ago, the latter tried to get close to her by requesting her to be in her room for a few weeks. Nalini agreed to it. A few days later, Preeti's mother entered the room on the pretext of being there temporarily.

Much to her shock, Nalini found herself being dominated by the duo. When she protested, she was "assaulted".

The police have launched a probe.
