Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's close friendship and the bond of trust that they developed as Students', translates effortlessly on screen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya'. And their peppy chemistry, that has become talk of the town, sums up their actual real life equation. True to their reel characters Humpty and Kavya, Varun and Alia not only compliment with each other but also share a love-and-hate relationship in real as well.

Describing their relationship Alia stated, "Varun and I share a love hate relationship. We fight very often, all the time, in fact, people around us tell us to stop! It's a lot like Humpty and Kavya. We fight so much because we actually love each other!" And the close vibes that they share were most evident during the Mumbai metro promotional trip that Alia and Varun took, whereby his hobbling onscreen lady love depended on his support and help completely during the journey! While at a recent Awards event, Alia surprised the audience by proposing to Varun impromptu, just like Kavya would take charge of a situation in Humpty's life!

So all these taken into account, one would really wonder at Varun and Alia's relationship status which is confusing yet cute. In more ways than one, Kavya and Humpty, with their innocent conviction for their love, remind of classic Bollywood onscreen couples. With such natural chemistry oozing from Kavya' and Humpty' and their high voltage love story, July 11 promises a grand onscreen treat for film buffs!
