Jagarlamuldi Krish's 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', produced by Y Rajeev Reddy and Jagarlamudi Saibabu on First Frame Entertainments, was done with the shoot yesterday evening.

"The last scene was shot on on Balakrishna, Shriya Saran and Hema Malini at Ramoji Film City. We had officially announced the movie on April 8, 2016 on the occasion of Ugadi festival, in the new capital city Amaravathi. Later the film was officially launched in Hyderabad in the presence of dignitaries like Telangana CM KCR, Minister T Harish Rao, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, K Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao and many other distinguished guests list," the makers have said.

Taking the folks through the journey, they add, "Our first schedule was a tough grind in Morocco's Atlas Studio and Varu Georges, where we shot the interval war scenes. Co-ordinating the about 1000 junior artists, 200 horses and camels in this schedule was challenging. We wrapped up the schedule in 14 days working for close to 14-16 hours per day."

"In the rigorous second schedule near Chilkur Balaji temple, Hyderabad, a massive naval battle was shot from May 30 onward. The elaborate setting of ships and vessels erected here are easily one of the biggest seen grandeur in Telugu cinema in recent times," they say with glee.

"The third schedule kicked off in Georgia from July 4, capturing yet another mind-blowing climax war sequence, was another grueling schedule. The Satavahana soldiers' fight with Greeks in the humongous battle was filmed in the scenic locations of Mount Kazbeg in Georgia, close to the Russian border. About 1000 soldiers, 300 horses and 20 chariots were used in the schedule."

"The fourth schedule, which began from August 29, in Madhya Pradesh, continued till September 20. In this one, the show of royal Satavahana saga with devotional Rajasuya Yagam, important scenes on lead cast and also a song were canned."

"Later on, minor patch works followed by the entry of Shivaraj Kumar and the canning of a song in Brinda Master's choreography were all memorable experiences. Neetu Lulla's styling is a scintillating work."

"In parallel, there was a lot of appreciation for 'Gautamiputra Satakarni's first look posters and promotional teaser crossing 3 Million views, first ever for a senior Telugu cinema super star. We also had the privilege of meeting legendary Singer SP Balasubramaniam garu for recording."

Thanking Team GS, the producers have said the below words:

"Balakrishna's commitment cannot be put in words. He stood the pillar support for our team inspiring us on every step. We are honoured to have worked with such a great star, who is in fact a simple human being. This visual grandeur could not have been possible without the support and dedication from entire team. On this emotionally rewarding occasion, I would like to thank and congratulate every member of Gautamiputra Satakarni team, from light boy or office boy to director Krish and hero Balakrishna for their distinctive hard work and superlative support.

Media friends always served a backbone in fulfilling our endeavours by reporting every detail and update of Gautamiputra Satakarni reach Fans and common audience. Their dynamism at dispersing the information encouraged us on every step.

Without hardcore Balakrishna Fan base and cinema loving audience, Gautamiputra Satakarni isn't possible. They are real motivation force behind Krish, Balayya Babu to work in best of their strengths.

Beyond all, distributors and buyers from all areas in India and abroad are an underpinning energy in completing the production earlier by one day in just 79 days. We promise you to deliver a top quality visual feast with post production teams working round the clock to deliver the output enabling us for January second week release."
