From 'Maanada Mayilada' to mega screen

Maanada Mayilada- fame Chaitanya debuts in Tamil cinema with a film titled 'Sokkali'.
Produced by United Star Pictures, 'Sokkali' is the story of a television anchor going after women appearing in his show. Debutante Nayana plays the role of the heroine. The rest of the cast has Ganja Karuppu, Sona and Chitti Babu, among others.
The movie, directed by Sarana, has cinematography by J Mohan and music by Joshua Sridhar. Says Sarana: The movie has a message for youngsters. It conveys a moral that individual discipline is the need of the hour. The highlight of the movie is Joshua SridharÂs music.
Chaitanya who won a reality show in a television channel is apt for the role. He has given his best shot. Major portion of the film is being shot in Tiruchi, Udhagamandalam and Kodaikanal, he adds.
