G.V. Prakash Kumar has never let his hectic acting and music scoring schedules to stop him from involving in socially relevant activities and is especially one of the boldest voices for the concerns of Tamil and Tamil society.  The young star has not only donated a big sum for the cause have instituting a seperate chair for Tamil at Harvard University but also has composed a tribute song for it.

Today GVP met senior IAS officer and activist against corruption Sagayam and has stated that he is elated by the event.  "Proud to join with the man who holds his head high after felling corruption, for the cause of Tamil chair at Harvard" is what the multi talented entertainer had to say.
