Mohan Raja is gearing up to begin shooting his 'Thani Oruvan 2' to the sequel to the 2015 commercially acclaimed blockbuster hit. Jayam Ravi is reprising his role of the straightforward cop ASP Mithran. The original had a powerful antagonist in the form of Siddharth Abhimanyu played by Arvind Swamy and likewise the sequel to is said to have a worthy adversary whose casting would come as a huge surprise according to the team.

The latest buzz is that Nayanthara too would be reprising her role as the forensic expert Mahima in 'Thani Oruvan 2'. Talks are also on with Sayyeshaa to play another female lead. We will get you more details about this exciting project the minute we have them.
