Gabbar Singh premiers in US on May 10

BlueSky Cinemas has announced that there will be several premier shows of Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh on May 10, in the US. The distributors are thus making all arrangements to make the prints reach the country well ahead - on May 9 – to ensure that the scheduled premiers go without any hindrance at all the centres.

The release of the film on May 11 has been officially confirmed. May 11 being a Friday, the film is expected to romp home with maximum overseas collections if it generates positive buzz.

Pawan and Shruthi recent shot for two numbers in Switzerland. The post-production is currently on and the film will undergo the mandatory censor procedures on May 4. Malaika Arora is reprising herself in the item song inspired by Munni Badnam Hui from the original. Abhimanyu Singh, Kota, Suhasini (playing Pawan's mother), Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Ajay, Nagineedu, Rao Ramesh, Giri, Ali, Sathyam Rajesh, Master Akash, Master Nagan and others are part of the cast.

Jayanan Vincent is the cinematographer. Art work is by Brahma Kadali. Gautham Raju is the editor. Screenplay is by Ramesh Reddy and Vegeshna Satish (director of Kulu Manali). Fights are by Ram-Lakshman. Harish Shankar is doubling up as the dialogue-writer.

Mumaith Khan to act in a female-centric film

Mumaith Khan has signed a film where the story revolves around her. To be directed by DVK Nageshwara Rao, the film would be produced by KS Prasad under the banner BS Entertainment. While the production house is new, the director is one film old, his first film was Aunty Uncle Nandagopal.
