Nagarjuna starrer 'Gaganam' completed 50 days today i.e, April 1st. The movie released as 'Payanam' in Tamil too. Dilraju produced it in Telugu and actor Prakash Raj produced the movie in Tamil.

Poonam Kaur, Prithvi,Bramhanandam, Prakash Raj et al acted in this picture directed by Radhamohan. Made with a relatively low budget, the film did decent business as it was released in both Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.

There were no item numbers of duets or exhorbitant fights and over the top scenes in this flick. It was a simple story of a plane hijack that instantly appealed to the multiplex audience. The film is still in theatres both in AP and Tamilnadu and has broke even for the producers in both the states. The movie marked the re-entry of Nag into Tamil market. The last time he was seen in Tamil film was Geetanjali. Post that though his movies were dubbed, they were never bi-lingual films like 'Gaganam'.

The movie unit is all set to hold 50 day celebrations soon.
