'Gang' actor to direct Telugu-Tamil bilingual

If you are wondering who is the actor who played Uttham Das in 'Gang', here is what you may like to know. He is Suresh Chandra Menon, the ex-husband of yesteryear actress Revathy. (Revathy and Suresh were granted a divorce in 2013. They had been living separately for 10 years).

Suresh had begun his career as a director and his 1993 thriller 'Pudhiya Mugam' is critically-acclaimed. The news is that he has decided to remake his debut movie. It will be remade in two languages - Tamil and Telugu.

AR Rahman had composed the music for 'PM'. It has to be seen who Suresh will rope in for the remake. The original starred Revathy, who was then his wife, in a key role.
