Gautami puts record straight on daughter's debut

Yesterday, we quoted Chennai-based media reports as saying that Gautami's daughter is most likely the heroine of 'Varma', the Tamil remake of 'Arjun Reddy'.
Gautami has on Tuesday sought to put the record straight herself. "Taken aback to see news about my daughter's acting debut. Subhalaxmi is committed to her studies and has no plans for acting now. Thank you all for your blessings on her," she said.
The yesteryear actress was recently in news for saying that Kamal Haasan's production company didn't pay her any salary towards her work on its films. "To all of those people who were so quick to judge me, you have known me for 30 years and I have never been one to throw my words around.
