Director Gautham Vasudev Menon had last directed the movie Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta starring Dhanush and Megha Akash, and he has completed shooting Dhruva Natchathiram starring Chiyaan Vikram, and is waiting for the dubbing and post production to be completed.

In an Instagram live chat, Gautham Menon was questioned on when he will work again with Suriya. Recently, Gautham had said in an interview that he has a love story with two musicians Kamal and Kamalini who connect in London and whether they unite.

Suriya had also wished Gautham on his 20th year in films and had said he's ready to lift the guitar again if Gautham says. In the Instagram chat yesterday, Gautham said that it was sweet of Suriya to say he will lift the guitar again, and added that he will be narrating the story to Suriya in another 10 days, and if Suriya likes it, he will make Suriya lift the guitar again.
