Indiaglitz had earlier reported that director Gautham Menon will play a full fledged pivotal role in ‘Goli Soda 2’ directed by Vijay Milton. The film touted to be set in the backdrop of sports also has Samuthirakani playing mentor to the boys.

Now the film’s team has revealed important updates about Gautham Menon’s cameo in the movie. Reportedly, Vijay had wriiten the story keeping Gautham in mind. The director has also quoted that Gautham’s role will take the story forward and it is also an extension of his personality.

The ace director who had already lent his voice for the teaser of 'Goli Soda 2' will join the film's crew for a day or two. About 60% of the filming is done with and the shooting expected to be wrapped up shortly.

In addition to Gautham Menon and Samuthirakani, the film also has Kishore and Vijay Milton’s brother Bharath Seeni in other important roles.
