'Geetha Govindam' zooms past Chiru, Trivikram films

Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna starring 'Geetha Govindam' continues to do well at the US box-office. As per the latest figures, it has made USD 2,454,233 (Gross). For perspective, this is the 7th best Telugu grosser ever.
Most recently, it pipped Trivikram Srinivas-directed 'A Aa' (USD 2.45 million) and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No. 150' (USD 2.44 million). The rom-com now trails this year's surprise blockbuster 'Mahanati' (USD 2.58 million).
The film's humongous success even in the domestic market has taken trade pundits by surprise. Vijay Deverakonda now awaits the release of 'NOTA' in the first week of October. With Ravi Teja's 'Amar Akbar Anthony' mostly not arriving, it will be a solo release for the actor, once again.
