Mani Ratnam's historic 'PS 1' created a BO tsunami when it was released in September 2022. As per Lyca Productions, it remains one of the Tamil film industry’s all-time highest-grossing films.

The news is that the trailer and audio of 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' will be ready for release on March 29. The Telugu version's trailer is hugely awaited as much as that of the Tamil original. Grand plans are afoot to hold an event on that date at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The cast and crew of the movie will be present on the occasion. Thousands of fans and movie-lovers will turn up for the event.

Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Parthiban, and Ashwin Kakumanu will be seen in the film.

The second installment of Mani Ratnam's biggest hit will hit the screens on April 28.

AR Rahman has recorded spectacular songs for the movie. Co-produced by Madras Talkies, the film is up for a big release in theatres.
