Geththu (aka) Gethu
'Gethu' is Udhayanidhi Stalin's next film in which he is trying to break away from the romantic comedy roles he is typecast with. The film has Uday in a completely new look and the actor is doing some dangerous stunts for the first time. The lovely Amy Jackson is the love interest for Udhay while Sathyaraj acts as his father and Vikranth plays the villain role for the first time.
This would be the first Udhayanidhi starrer without the presence of Santhanam and Karunakaran who acts as hero's friend would provide comic relief. 'Gethu' has music by Udhayanidhi Stalin regular Harris Jayaraj, Camera is handled by M. Sukumar, Editing is by Sreekhar Prasad and the film is directed by Thirukummaran who gave the super hit 'Maan Karate'. The film is a Red Giant Movies presentation.
The trailer of the film has drastically improved the expectations on the film. The promise of novel content and smart making of the film was evident in the trailer.
'Gethu' joins the Pongal race and it has been scheduled for release on January 14, 2016
