'Ghajinikanth' opens to an impressive Box Office innings

After director Santhosh Jayakumar’s outing in two adult entertainers, his ‘Ghajinikanth’ starring Arya and Sayyeshaa was awaited with much fervour. The film released last weekend as a solo entry at the box office and here is its performance report.

In Chennai alone, the film was screened at 18 theatres with 204 shows reaping in a profit of Rs.1,14,84,568. It is also worth noting here that the film saw an average crowd presence of 85%. This in itself can be considered a good sign that the film is a hit.

And as for Santhosh P Jayakumar, after his successful outings in ‘Hara Hara Maha Devaki’ and ‘Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu’, ‘Ghajinijkanth’ success comes off as a hat-trick win.   Read Ghajinikanth Review Here
