Actor Karthi's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' directed by Mani Ratnam will be his first release of the year. The film touted to be a romantic-actioner will be hitting the screens in March 2016.

Karthi's next will be directed by H.Vinoth of 'Sathuranga Vettai' fame and this film has been titled as 'Theeran Adhikaram Ondru'. The 'Madras' actor will be playing a cop in this film which will have Rakul Preet Singh as female lead.

The film was launched during the last week of December 2016 and the initial announcement did not mention the name of the music director.

But now sources confirm that Ghibran will be the music director of 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru'.

We can expect an official confirmation in this regard very soon before the commencement of shoot which is expected to happen in the first week of February 2017.
