Google Maps, this pandemic season, has come up with a hi-tech feature to help its users keep themselves abreast with various covid-related details. Ahead of the Christmas holiday season in the West, Maps has rolled out this interesting feature.

Death toll in an area.
An average caseload growth trend of the last week.
Crowd-related information on public transport (read buses, trains, etc).
Google Maps has claimed that as many as 10 million people have received critical information about COVID-19, thanks to nearly 200 new features added since the onset of the pandemic.
