Yet another creation from the master movie maker Vamsi, the film `Gopi Gopika Godavari' is gearing up for release and this has Venu, Kamalini Mukherjee as the lead pair. The music has been composed by Chakri and the lyrics have been penned by Rama Jogayya Sastry, how the response of the songs has been so far, let us see.

Go Go Rye Rye...   Listen here

A melody number with energetic beats, the song is based on the backdrop of Godavari and this has been sung by the duo of Chakri, Vamshi along with chorus. With a mix of folk instrumental beats, the song is dominated by vocals and the lyricist Rama Jogayya Sastry has penned understandable lyrics. This is more of a number that talks about oneness and affection and is a positive number.

Sundari.   Listen here

An interesting duet, the song has got a very interesting combination with competent vocals by artists Venu and Madhumitha. Lyricist Rama Jogayya Sastry showed his prowess in words by coming up with witty and fast paced lyrics and not missing the rhythm anywhere. Chakri had a melody tune for this and he used more of keyboards and Veena in this one. Madhumitha has got a distinct voice which is sensuous.

Nuvvakkadunte.   Listen here

This is the highlight song of the album with some exceptional music by Chakri and a pleasant melody tune. A romantic number that talks about the pleasures of separation, the duet has been sung by Chakri and Kousalya. Their chemistry has worked well for this number and Rama Jogayya Sastry has given simple but sensible lyrics. The pace of the song is slow and it has traces of the literary side of the lyricist.

Bala Godari.   Listen here

This is a fast number with a melody note and Chakri has taken the support of flute and other traditional instruments for this one. The energy of the song is not that great but the vocals by artists Karthik, Kousalya, Vamshi goes in tandem with the music. Rama Jogayya Sastry has penned the lyrics in an interesting manner. Overall, it is a bit dull for hearing.

Maavidaaku.   Listen here

A foot tapping song with some upbeat vocals by Vasu and Geetha Madhuri has provided good energy to it. A very fast moving song, this has got traces of songs that we have heard before but Chakri has molded the notes very well and this might find its presence in marriages as the backdrop is wedding. The mix of traditional and western beats is another aspect to this. Rama Jogayya from his end synced well with the music and gave the words accordingly.

Overall, the album is for those who like melody and are used to the Chakri flavor. The songs are more of melody and though there are one or two of western beat based numbers. There is a touch of the Vamsi trademark in the songs and it is more for the matured audience and those who like the classical style of songs. Youth audience may find it tender but not very appealing though.
