Guru Purnima 2025: Sadhguru Satsang and Spiritual Celebrations at Isha Yoga Center

July 10, 2025 Published by rajeshe092eb6a68

For spiritual seekers, Ashadha Purnima, also known as Guru Purnima, is one of the most significant days of the year. It marks the sacred occasion when Adiyogi became the first Guru, initiating the Sapta Rishis into the science of Yoga. This day symbolizes the origin of the revered Guru-Shishya tradition in India and is celebrated across the country with great devotion and gratitude toward one’s spiritual teacher.

At the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore, preparations are underway to celebrate Guru Purnima on July 10, 2025, with devotion and spiritual intensity. Here’s a look at the highlights of this year’s celebrations.

Sadhguru Arpanam – A Week of Online Sadhana

For the first time, a special seven-day online sadhana named Sadhguru Arpanam is being offered, culminating on the sacred day of Guru Purnima. Participants engage in dedicated practices that conclude with the chanting of the Guru Purnima mantra and a symbolic offering at the Dhyanalinga.

Offerings at Dhyanalinga

Devotees can make sacred offerings at the Dhyanalinga — Ksheerarpanam (milk offering) is available in the morning from 6 AM to 1 PM, while Jalarpanam (water offering) is available from 1 PM to 8 PM.

On every Amavasya (New Moon) and Purnima (Full Moon), these offerings allow devotees to connect deeply with the energy of Dhyanalinga, making it a powerful spiritual experience. On Guru Purnima, this opportunity becomes even more sacred, as seekers reaffirm and strengthen their bond with the Guru.

Guru Purnima Evening – The Awaited Sadhguru Satsang

A major highlight of the celebrations at Isha this year is the much-awaited Sadhguru Satsang, taking place on the evening of July 10, starting at 7 PM. The event includes a powerful guided meditation led by Sadhguru, bringing together thousands in spiritual union.

The evening also features stunning cultural performances by Sounds of Isha and renowned artists including Mohit Chauhan, Ram Miriyala, Parthiv Gohil, and Swagat Rathod. Adding global flavor to the event, Trinidadian Soca King Machel Montano will also perform, delivering a world-class musical experience.

Live Stream of Sadhguru Satsang

For those unable to attend in person, the Guru Purnima Satsang will be live-streamed on Sadhguru’s official YouTube channel and at selected Isha local centers worldwide.

The live stream will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Malayalam, Gujarati, Odia, Nepali, and several other international languages, allowing seekers from around the world to join in this sacred celebration.
