Vijay Antony and GV Prakash contribute to a new trend

Vijay Antony and GV Prakash the two successful music director who have struck gold as a commercial hero as well, will be giving a fillip to the newly emerging trend of releasing the film on Thursday instead of Friday with their upcoming releases.

It has been officially confirmed that Prakash's 'Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru' and Vijay Antony's 'Saithan' will be releasing on November 10 and 17 respectively both falling on Thursdays.

Earlier this year Vikram's 'Iru Mugan' released on a Thursday (September 8) and turned out to be a blockbuster. Dhanush's 'Thodari' also released on a Thursday of the same month (September 22).

The continuance of this trend depends on the Box office performance of 'KIK' and 'Saithan'.
