GV Prakash Plans 4 Parts For ‘Kingston’

Music director-turned-actor GV Prakash Kumar is all set to make waves with his latest film, Kingston. He not only plays the lead role but also steps into the shoes of a producer for the first time. Produced under his banner, Parallel Universe Pictures, in collaboration with Zee Studios, Kingston marks a significant milestone in GV Prakash’s career.

The film, which is set to release in both Tamil and Telugu on March 7th, is being brought to Telugu audiences by Maheswara Reddy of Ganga Entertainments.

In a recent media interaction in Hyderabad, GV Prakash shared insights about the film, his journey as a producer, and the unique elements that make Kingston a standout project.

When asked about his feelings ahead of the film’s release, GV Prakash admitted to feeling the usual pre-release jitters. “That’s there before the release of every film. As the release date approaches, I tend to countdown to it,” he said.

“Plans were there for quite some time. Kingston inspired me to become a producer. I am glad to have produced this first-of-its-kind Indian film, in collaboration with Zee Studios,” he shared.

The film is not just a one-off project for GV Prakash. He has grand plans to turn Kingston into a franchise, with stories for four parts already in place.
