Hours after Narendra Modi telephoned Donald Trump to speak about the developments that have taken place after the abrogation of Article 370, the US President took to Twitter to say that the situation (with respect to India and Pakistan) is tough but the conversations he had with the Indian PM and Imran Khan were good.

"Spoke to my two good friends, Prime Minister Modi of India, and Prime Minister Khan of Pakistan, regarding Trade, Strategic Partnerships and, most importantly, for India and Pakistan to work towards reducing tensions in Kashmir. A tough situation, but good conversations!" Trump tweeted out.

It's reported that Trump has appealed to the Pakistan PM to temper his rhetoric with India.
