Hajj Association's Abu Backer meets Rajinikanth

Superstar Rajinikanth today had a meeting with Indian Hajj Association president Abu Backer at the former's residence in Chennai.

What was the purpose of the meet? Coming out of the interaction, Abu Backer said that it was a mere courtesy call. We discussed a wide range of issues, including incidents unfolding in the state and the country, Abu added.

Most recently, the 'Darbar' actor pooh-poohed the Centre over the Delhi riots that consumed the lives of Muslims as well as Hindus, besides injuring hundreds. Rajini has lent his support for CAA. However, he slammed the BJP-led government for intelligence failure in Delhi.
