It's going to be 'Star War's all the way after 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' hits theatres worldwide later this year. Meanwhile, there are also two 'Star Wars' standalone films being developed by Disney which are also referred to as 'Anthology Films'. The first Anthology Film is titled 'Star Wars: Rogue One' and is being directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla). 'Rogue One' is currently filling out its cast. The second Anthology Film was supposed to be directed by Josh Trank (Fantastic Four). However, he recently "exited" the project.

As of now, the only little information we have pertaining to the second Anthology film is that Simon Kinberg (Fantastic Four) is writing it. In addition, this film may possibly be about "a Boba Fett origin story".

However, new rumors have sprung up suggesting the film may focus on how the rivalry between Boba Fett and Han Solo began and will be set between 'Revenge of the Sith' and the Original Trilogy 'Star Wars' film, 'A New Hope'. If this indeed turns out to be true, we sure can expect appearances by other famous 'Star Wars' characters like Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, and fellow bounty hunter Bossk.

Naturally, the film is still without a director announced to replace Josh Trank. it is also being said in the rumor that 'Iron Man' and 'Chef' director Jon Favreau and 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' and 'X-Men: First Class' director Matthew Vaughn could be in contention for the coveted opportunity.

Only time will who will be taking charge of the second 'Star Wars' Anthology Film. Until then, it's a waiting game. So, what do you think about this rumor? Would you like to see a Boba Fett-Hans Solo rivalry elaborated on-screen? Let us know in the comments below
