A strong Ajith connection in Hansika's next

Nayanthara opened the doors for more women centric films to be made in Kollywood after she delivered the hits 'Mayaa' and 'Aramm'. The latest leading lady to join the bandwagon is Hansika who has signed on to play the main lead in a new movie directed by Jameel.
The film has been titled 'Mahaa' and Jameel an estwhile assistant of Lakshman in movies such as 'Romeo Juliet' and 'Bogan' states that the film will show Hansika in a new dimension and cement her place as a formidable actress in South India. Another major highlight is that this would be the 50th movie for Hansika.
The title 'Mahaa' incidently was initially planned for an Ajith movie directed by Nanda Periyasamy but was shelved. Producer Madhiazhagan had luckily grabbed the title a few years back according to the team.
