Teja Sajja's HanuMan has been enjoying remarkable success at the global box office, captivating audiences and taking them on a spiritual journey within Prashant Varma's cinematic universe. With Amritha Aiyer as the female lead, and stellar performances by Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Vinay Rai in significant roles, the film has garnered widespread acclaim.

Anticipation is now at its peak as movie enthusiasts eagerly await the release of the film's second part, Jai Hanuman.

However, the journey to success for HanuMan faced challenges in the Nizam region, where the makers encountered difficulties securing theaters. Despite the Producers Council resolving the issue to ensure a smooth Sankranti film release, some theater managements, which had agreements with HanuMan's Mythri Movies distributors, went against their agreements and refused to screen the film.

In response to this defiance, the Telugu Producers Council issued a stern warning through a press release, urging theaters to honor their agreements and compensate for the losses incurred by the HanuMan makers due to the non-screening of the film on subsequent days. This development underscores the industry's commitment to upholding agreements and maintaining a fair and collaborative environment for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Here is the Press Note of the Telugu Producers Councill to the Theatre Owners.

Mythri Movies Distributors LLP has made an agreement with some theaters in Telangana to screen the movie Hanuman from 12-01-2024. But those theaters are ignoring this agreement and are not showing this movie in Nizam area theaters.

Mythrri Movies distributors and producer Niranjan Reddy have complained about this. The theaters did not screen the movie Hanuman as per the agreement and the distributors and producers suffered huge losses. So these theaters have to start showing the movie Hanuman immediately and bear the loss incurred till now.

Such actions by the theaters are a threat to the survival of the Telugu film industry. The Telugu Film Producers Council strongly condemns this action by the theaters and protesting such unethical acts, the entire Telugu film industry, which runs on the basis of faith, morality, justice, has acted contrary to the justice of the actors, respecting their previous agreement and demanding immediate justice for the film Hanuman.
