Actress Amala, better half of 'King' Nagarjuna, celebrates her birthday today (12.09.14).
After a long hiatus, she made her comeback into films with Sekhar Kammula's 'Life Is Beautiful'. Her performance won critical acclaim. Now she is acting in the Tamil serial, 'Uyirmei', in which she is playing a doctor. She is better known for her social welfare activities through her Blue Cross.
She along with her husband Nag has actively participated in many animal and social welfare and awareness activities. The couple have recently pledged to donate their organs recently. Their son, Akhil, is going to make his debut as the lead actor soon.
