Happy Birthday Power Star

  • IndiaGlitz, [Monday,September 02 2013]

Is he a great actor... Is he a leader... Is he an intellectual… No, none of it. He is above all of them. A Human Being. He is a human that can emote. A man burning with disgust over the system. A man in search of truth. A Man on a mission. That’s what makes him the real idol for the millions of young Telugu speaking souls. It has no boundaries... Of religion, caste or region. Jus the love for the man. If you pack the power and name it, it’s called ‘Pawan Kalyan’ and it’s born to inspire... Born today 41 years ago.

Not often we see the disciple winning over the Guru, devotee surpassing the God. But here is a living example of such rarity. Came to film industry as the kid sibling of Megastar Chiranjeevi, he made his mark in the very first film not on screen but off it when he demonstrated live on stage the stunts he performed for the camera. He then followed it up with some sensible films but with Toli Prema, he exploded. Tammudu, Badri and Khushi sky rocketed his image to unseen heights. Younger generation who were unable to identify themselves with the aging Chiranjeevi could strike the perfect chord with PK.

The turning point, however, came when he'd campaigned for Chiranjeevi's 'Prajarajyam'. He spoke little but when he did, it was like shooting missiles, straight out of heart. Till then he was a superstar of cinema but his speeches, driven by raw honesty made him an off screen youth icon. But following political eventualities, his energy soon transformed into a silence that spoke volumes about the betrayal he faced in his idol’s hands. Fans felt it too. It can be heard in the huge roar by the 'Mega fans' whenever his name is taken compared to a simple acknowledgement his other family members receive, including the Mega Star himself.

It's not an exaggeration to say that he is the only actor who defies Box Office success to expand his stardom and fanfare by day, by movie. IndiaGlitz joins the millions of his fans in wishing a happy birthday and many more successes in his journey.
