Happy Birthday, Prabhas

Jayanth C Paranje, his first director, had said something about Prabhas in 2002 which stands out as an accurate prophecy. He said that seeing Prabhas act on the sets of Eeswar the very first day, he was sure that he would make it big in the industry and that he was going to have a shimmering career for the next 25 years.

Prabhas, is zooming ahead and even before he has completed his first decade in the industry, he is a front line actor with potential for becoming a darling of the masses. All that he needs to do is consolidate his position by delivering a Varsham now and then.

He is well on the way to do it, luckily. If Rebel has all the ingredients of a mass pot boiler, the iconic trappings of a Chatrapathi and the refinement in his body language as in Mr. Perfect, it would endear him to the masses for sure.

And, finally, a thing about what he can do to retain his crazy female fan following. He will do well to flesh out a bit and do a better Bujjigadu and repeat the feats like Darling. Or, like Cherry, dare to do an Orange without the baggage of a confused lover. It may do wonders to his career at this juncture.
