Archana, formerly known as Veda, who played heroine and other such characters in films like 'Nenu, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, Tapana, Koncham Touchlo Vunte Cheputanu, Suryam, Samanyudu, Sriramadasu, Yamadonga' and other such films is celebrating her birthday on October 8.

It may be mentioned here that 'Nenu, Suryam, Samanyudu and Sriramadasu' earned her a good name as an artiste. Unlike other heroines, Archana played a negative role in Samanyudu.
Archana, who learnt classical dance, played Sitadevi character in Sriramadasu and won the affection of audiences. She played the friend of heroine Trisha in 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'.
