A historical film of 12th century period a film on ÂMaha Sharana Haralayya during the reigns of Sri Basaveshwara and Bijjala King completed 50 days screening in continuation of theatres.
The film starring Sridhar as Haralayya, Ramesh ARavind at Sri Basaveshwara and Ramakrishna as Bijjala Maharaja received rave reviews and it could not sustain the rental system of theatres at one particular place. The film directed by BA Purushottam was produced by Devaraj, Venkatesh and Ravichandra. Gauri Venkatesh is cameraman and Jimmi Raj is music composer.
So ÂMaha Sharana Haralayya moved from place to place. In Karnataka it is running in around 15 theatres from Vishisht Entertainers.
It is ÂSharanu Sharanarthi gathered good attention besides the height of devotion of Haralayya towards Sri Basaveshwara apple of the film.
