Pia Bajpiee shot to fame in both Tamil and Telugu with her 2011 film 'Ko' ('Rangam' in Telugu). 'Backbench Student' and 'Dalam' in Telugu in the following years were her notable credits.

Despite her rising career graph in the early years, why hasn't the pretty actress not been seen around much? In her latest interview, Pia suggests that her career down South took a beating because of how their releases were not proper or didn't happen for whatever reason.

Pia feels that her efforts go down the drain if a film doesn't get released. She sees doing such projects a pointless exercise, adding that it is the responsibility of the makers to ensure that every work of labour reaches the maximum audience. In the absence of such a commitment, any actor would be demotivated. Also, almost all of her Southern films haven't been released in Uttar Pradesh, her home state, a factor that has been sticking out like a sore thumb.

Pia has also done 'Laal Rang', 'The Virgins' and 'Mirza Juuliet' in Hindi.
