Harish, Ganesh on top of the world

Harish Shankar has said that the day Pawan Kalyan asked him to direct the remake version of Dabanng, he felt very excited. The title of Gabbar Singh and the texture of the movie were Pawan's brainchild. This provoked the excitement and interest of Harish.

Only I know how much Pawan perspired to make this film happen. He did not care for his health. DSP must be thanked one lakh times for the tunes. This film would not have been possible but for the team effort. More than myself, my directorial team perspired even more. I was constantly egged on by Ganesh and Naga Babu, Harish has said.

Ganesh has stated that if there had been no Gabbar Singh, he would have missed an important success in his life. There is no stopping our film's record-breaking journey. We have made the biggest hit in the history of Telugu cinema. The film has quenched the thirst of Pawan's fans.
