Actor Harish Kalyan, who had claimed fame with the first season of Bigg Boss game show as the wildcard contestant, had scored his first hit with Pyaar Prema Kadhal directed by Elan, and co-starring his co-contestant Raiza Wilson. Following the success of the movie, he was seen last in Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum.

Currently the actor is starring in a number of movies like Dhanusu Raasi Neyargalae directed by Sanjay Bharathi and co-starring Reba Monica John and Digangana Suryavanshi and Kasadathabara directed by Chimbudeven which is a multistarrer produced by Venkat Prabhu.

Harish Kalyan had also signed to star in the remake of Bollywood hit movie Vicky Donor, and this movie which was rumoured to be titled as Dharala Prabhu will be directed by Tollywood director Krishna Marimuthu. Now it has been speculated that actress Tanya Hope who had debuted in the Arun Vijay starrer Thadam might play his pair in the movie.
