Director Ranjit Jeyakodi made his debut with Mellisai, which was rechristened to Puriyatha Puthir and got released in 2017 after huge delays. The movie starring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie received fairly decent reviews.

Now the director is ready with his next, the romantic thriller titled Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum. The movie, which stars Bigg Boss fame Harish Kalyan after the success of romantic entertainer Pyaar Prema Kadhal has locked its release date.

Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum will release worldwide on March 15. The movie has Shilpa Manjunath of Kaali fame as female lead, and has music by Sam CS. One of the songs which begins with the voiceover of Vijay Sethupathi, has been received well.
