Harish Shankar is one of the most talented filmmakers in Telugu cinema. Although his last film, Mr. Bachchan, did not perform well at the box office, he is determined to make a strong comeback with his second film featuring Pawan Kalyan, Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
The film faced a setback recently, but Harish is actively working to keep the buzz alive. Pawan Kalyan is currently focused on completing Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is slated for release on March 28, 2025. Meanwhile, despite no ongoing shooting for his other film, OG, the excitement around it continues to grow.
To keep Ustaad Bhagat Singh in the limelight, Harish recently attended the pre-release event of Tamil actor Pradeep Ranganathan’s film Dragon. During the event, the director of Dragon expressed his admiration for Pawan Kalyan and mentioned how he would depict him in a powerful way if given the chance. Seizing the moment, Harish revealed he had already written a similar scene for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, where Pawan Kalyan rides on top of a jeep.
This scene is reportedly inspired by an actual incident where Pawan traveled on top of his car to reach Ippatam village, despite police restrictions. Harish’s revelation has reignited discussions around the film, bringing it back into the spotlight.
With Sreeleela as the female lead and Mythri Movie Makers producing the film, Harish is keen on resuming the shoot soon. Fans eagerly await updates and hope Pawan Kalyan dedicates time to complete the much-anticipated project.
