Has Asin replaced Katrina in Shankar's tri-lingual?

  • IndiaGlitz, [Thursday,February 09 2012]

It was earlier reported that top-notch director Shankar will be helming a multi-lingual in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu with Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and Prabhas respectively and with Katrina Kaif as the lead lady in all three versions! Grapevine is now abuzz that the filmmaker is now toying with the idea of casting Asin as the lead lady in this multi-lingual!

The actress was seen cozying up with Shankar and ARR at a high profile event in Mumbai and ever since rumour mills have been working overtime suggesting Asin has bagged this prestigious multi-lingual. Producer Aascar Ravichandran's good friend Jackie Chan is also touted to play a pivotal role in this multi-lingual project.

While some say it's based on Kamal's script - 'Thalaivan Irukkiran', others express that the film is a fresh script by Shankar. Well, whatever it may be, it looks like we can get to see Asin in a film by Shankar shortly...
