Samantha is basking in all the accolades she recieved for her stunning performance in 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan. The romantic comedy also has Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara and has has emerged as a box office winner.

Meanwhile Sam took off to Hyderabad to shoot for her new movie 'VD 11' that has handsome young star Vijay Devarakonda as her leading man. The duo are reuniting after the National Award winning 'Mahanati' that had Keerthy Suresh in the title role.

Vijay Devarakonda celebrated his 33rd birthday on the sets of 'VD 11' and received a loving hug from Samantha. The actress shared the pics on Instagram and wrote "Happy birthday #LIGER You are deserving of all the love and appreciation that is going to be coming your way this year.Watching you work the way you do is incredibly inspiring. God bless".
